What do I need to do to bring my child to visit me?

Tourist visas are always submitted thru the US Consular Office abroad. As a general rule, the consulate is looking to establish that the applicant will comply with what a tourist does - visit family, visit Disney, go to the beach and leave. So any evidence that shows that the visit will be temporary and that the applicant will return abroad is helpful. For most cases, an attorney is really not needed. Just be honest, tell the truth, complete the application correctly and all should be fine.

Will a trespassing dismissed on a deal still appear in the record?

Generally, a trespass is not a bad crime under US immigration laws as long as there was no danger to any person or other violent act; however, to become a US citizen, if you have a conviction in the 5 years prior to applying then it may be grounds to deny for lack of good moral character during that period but that would require that the conviction is a crime of moral turpitude. So, I recommend that you consult with an attorney to determine whether or not this is a good time for you to apply. Good Luck.

As a Canadian do I need a work visa to work in Florida?

Answered by attorney David Troy Cox
Immigration lawyer at CoxEsq, PC
Assuming you traveled here as a visitor, you are not allowed to work for compensation.  You could volunteer, but you cannot be paid by an employer here in the US.  You could return to Canada and produce the videos there, be compensated there, and then return to the US.
