Can I marry someone who was deported so he can become a ctizen again?

Answered by attorney Lynne Rogers Feldman
Immigration lawyer at Feldman Feldman Associates, PC
The question is too general to answer. I would need to know the details of any deportation, any reentries into the U.s. after deportation, your status, whether he committed any crime, etc. If you would like to set u a paid consultation to discuss this call to set this up and try to get all documents you can to explain what has happened to him. If you don't have these we can apply for copies from the government but he or his prior attorney may already have these saving time.

Since your father became a citizen after you were born, you will need to go through the application and adjustment process as he did.

How much money does it take to file for my mother?

Reza Athari
Answered by attorney Reza Athari (Unclaimed Profile)
Immigration lawyer at Reza Athari & Associates, PLLC
As a USC, you may apply for your mother. It takes approximately a year for her to come here. You should sign an affidavit of support for her and your income must be enough. See instructions for form I-864 for income level.
