This kind of case requires a full in depth analysis. I am happy to schedule an initial consult to fully look at this case and to answer your questions. That takes about one hour and my fee is $150. Otherwise I recommend scheduling a consult with another competent immigration attorney.

You can apply for extension using Form I-539. You need to file your application with USCIS with the proper filing fee and supporting documentation establishing good reasons for extending your stay as a visitor. The application has to be received by USCIS before the expiration of your I-94. To make sure that your reasons qualify for extension of stay, you should consult an immigration lawyer. You will not get a new I-94 with an extended validity date if you go to Canada and reenter after a day.

Do I need to apply for employment authorization again?

Answered by attorney Lynne Rogers Feldman
Immigration lawyer at Feldman Feldman Associates, PC
The $1070 includes the fees for a work card but you can't have more than one at once so you would need to return your Deferred Action work card if you want a new one. If you have a year or so left I would not include the EAD paperwork.
