How can I downgrade from F1 to F2B visa?

Susan S Han

You can choose whichever preference category is faster F1 or F2B and keep the original priority date. I am assuming that your father was a permanent resident when he filed for you, and now he's a US citizen. Your mother naturalizing does not have any effect unless she filed an I-130 for you too. If you're in the US on a valid non-immigrant visa, you can give US address.

If they are married to have a shared life together and not only for the immigration benefit, and they interview will, the case should be approved. They should prepare for the interview and be ready to answer those questions you raise.

just go to the county clerk's office to get married and then file 130, 485 to get green card. if you are not sure exactly how to do it, hire an immigration lawyer to help you.
