I have been exclusively practicing criminal law for over 25 years and am just as every bit as passionate as I was when I first began as a prosecutor. I am devoted to my clients who face criminal charges, big or small, and believe everyone is entitled to a strong defense.
I graduated from University of Southern California in 1996 with a double major in Political Science and International Relations. I immediately began law school at McGeorge School of Law in 1996 and successfully passed the Bar Exam on my first try in 1999. Before I learned I had passed the bar, I clerked at the Orange County District Attorney as a Senior Law Clerk. Upon passing the bar, I was immediately offered a position as a Deputy District Attorney.
During my almost six years at the Office of the District Attorney, I prosecuted all types of criminal cases from filing to jury or court trial. My time here was invaluable, gaining unparalleled experience, interacting with the judiciary, attorneys, law enforcement, investigators, and court staff. The relationships I forged are still intact today. In the criminal law world, relationships can often make or break a case. Contrary to what you see in movies or television, most prosecutors and defense attorneys are cordial and friendly with one another. This enables us to obtain outstanding results for our clients. This doesn't mean there aren't fights and conflicts in the name of justice--there is plenty of this to go around.
I have just passed my 25th anniversary as an attorney, and my devotion to my clients have not wavered. I am still motivated to help my clients in their time of need, and am fueled to help preserve their future. My experience, training, and expertise will be present for every client who needs my help.
