Hired Law Firm

I scheduled a consultation with Ms. Pagel to advise me as to whether a simple legal issue I had recently reviewed from a previous attorney's e mail, applied to my case. I paid $250.00 for a consultation which due to this lawyer's caustic demeanor, lasted approx. 15-20 minutes. Ms. Pagel was rude from the start, refusing to listen to a word of background info., as in my opinion, she had little to offer, anyway. She seemed far more interested in securing her $250-and-getting-me-out-the-door than caring about or helping me with my case or my questions. She was off putting and insulting, and had far too-hard-a-time working her way through the Family Code to validate that the assertions she 'finally' did render, were actually stated somewhere in a recent statute. This lawyer seemed to me oddly defensive, certainly off-putting, and uninterested in earning her fee. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone. Who needs that?!

I would not recommend this lawyer. Zero compassion, did not listen, and unprofessional. Had to hire another attorney to fix the problems she caused me in my mediation.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
