About Shira R. Yoshor

Shira Yoshor, Chair of the Philadelphia Labor & Employment Practice, is an experienced employment lawyer, regularly representing management in all aspects of employment law. Her clients range from major global corporations to smaller, newer companies, including those entering the U.S. market for the first time. She counsels employers on workplace issues and drafts documents from employment agreements, handbooks, and policies to separation agreements and disclosures. She investigates and litigates whistleblower, discrimination, and retaliation claims, including some of the most sensitive harassment claims against high-level executives. She drafts, enforces, and defends restrictive covenants and helps employers protect their trade secrets. She also helps employers deal with wage and hour and classification matters from audits to defending class and collective actions.

In recent years, Shira has focused on advising and counseling employers with their most challenging employment issues. She is a strategic partner as her clients deal with difficult accommodation and termination issues. She regularly advises boards of directors and guides them through sensitive executive terminations.

Shira has been honored by organizations including the Pennsylvania Legal Awards (finalist, Best Law Firm Mentor, 2024) and Israel Bonds (Philadelphia Legal & Financial Services Division Award, 2025), and is regularly listed in publications including the Chambers USA Guide (2023-2025), The Best Lawyers in America (multiple categories, 2020-2026), The Legal 500 United States (2016-2018, 2021-2022, 2024), Super Lawyers magazine (Texas Super Lawyers, 2016-2024), and LegallyIsrael100 (Litigation, 2024-2025).
