About Rusty Harrison

For more than two decades, personal injury attorney Rusty Harrison has proudly represented many hundreds of seriously injured Texans. As a result of his long history of significant recoveries, he is an inducted lifetime member of both the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

As a partner with White & Harrison – Trial Lawyers,he has successfully tried to verdict throughout the State of Texas a wide range of serious personal injury and wrongful death cases, including commercial trucking, medical malpractice, premises liability and motor vehicle collisions.

Since 2008, Rusty Harrison has held Martindale-AVVO’s highest available rating. Additionally, since 2013 he has been named a member of The National Association of Distinguished Counsel – Nation’s Top One Percent in the field of personal injury law.

Rusty Harrison is a past member of the Board of Directors of Texas Trial Lawyers Association, completed a one-year term as Briefing Attorney to Judge Murry B. Cohen of the First District Court of Appeals (1999-2000) and served on the Editorial Board of the South Texas Law Review (1998-1999).

Rusty Harrison now plays a lead role in achieving exceptional results on behalf of the firm’s clients. Rusty aggressively represents plaintiffs in state and federal courts throughout Texas. His practice primarily focuses on representing plaintiffs in trucking, motor vehicle, premises liability, Jones Act, medical malpractice and catastrophic personal injury cases.

Rusty is a sixth generation Texan. After graduating high school in Crockett in 1988, Rusty attended Sam Houston State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Criminology before going on to earn a Master of Arts in English (emphasis in American literature) from Stephen F. Austin State University. After working for several years in his family’s agricultural interests, Rusty attended law school at South Texas College of Law where he earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence in May 1999. During law school, Rusty received the Dean’s Diversity Fellowship, numerous class high-grade awards, and was named a member of the South Texas Law Review where he served as both Assistant Research Editor (1997-98) and Note & Comment Editor (1998-99).
