Roberts Markel Weinberg Butler Hailey PC is a law firm established in 1981 with an office in Houston, TX. At this office location, there are 28 lawyers practicing appeals, commercial, construction/design defect and 23 other areas of law.
We engaged Mr. Markel at the last minute before our trial date and he was able to get the opposing attorney to back down and agree to a fair settlement of the issue where 2 prior attorneys were unable to.
We try and keep a very close hand on collections, and while Roberts Markel has done most of what is needed, they've dropped the ball on a couple of items and I feel for their expertise in this area, they don't seem to know a lot of information that we are seeking.
James Richards over there was horrible in representing the Condo Homeowners Association. The representation we received was none after the office being paid substantial amounts.{para}Communication was very poor, as well. Avoided answering simple phone calls with simple questions.
Not impressed with level of action and dedication on my family's case. Legal expenses growing and we feel like we are falling through the cracks of the legal system.
Highly advise NOT to work with attorney Sipra Boyd. Despite receiving a demand letter a month ago and a signed authorization, she’s refused flatly to work in good faith with co-counsel on a resolution. She has not responded to follow up emails, delayed initial response to the demand, refuses to cooperate, provides information that is not accurate and misleading, and attempts to delay, intimidate or bully you into giving up. I’ve filed a complaint with the State Bar of Texas and will continue documenting the obstruction and attempts to delay the settlement and negotiation process. Good luck defending that in court.
My HOA referred to to collections with this lawyer. I was in collections since Feb 2024, and today April, his office never tried to contact me. Once, I learned I was in collections and needed to reach out to Mr. Shannon Mosley, I called multiple times, several emails and attempts to contact to pay my account. His phone number goes to voicemail, is there no office or secretary? Simply, if this office is your collections, you are not in good hands to pay your debts.
Horrible communication. They are busy all the time. They charged me twice. Tried to contact them but they told me that the attorney is busy. Never communicated back. I still did not get my money back.
