Hired Attorney Ms. Riddhi Desai

Ms. Desai is nearly impossible to get in touch with and did not return ANY calls for 6 months (August-February) until the day I threatened to contact someone about the non contact. The lawyer is not receptive to client input and frequently looks disheveled with torn clothing and unorganized files. She kept files related to my case for months until I threatened to report her. Her charges to the state/county for time spent working on my case seemed made up because she was not reachable and didnt review details because she seemed too overburdened to mount effective defense. She was a court appointed lawyer (in my opinion acted/functioned like an agent of the state) but I don't suggest hiring her for ANY case, especially with freedom and/or livelihood in balance.

Hired Attorney Ms. Riddhi Desai

Don’t waste your time or hard earned money . She would not even respond to my emails before she had the check in the bank for the consultation fee. Also spoke to the friend of mine that thought she could help us and she did another person the same way. COVID -19 may have affected her . I sent her 5 emails and when my check arrived only 3 days after our first contact. Her response was I received your check today. Then answered my emails and collected the $250 fee, then gave me another email of another firm. Easy $250.00🤬😡

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
