He worked for my benefit and did an excellent job. He got what I wanted.
Great trial lawyer and great results.
Mr Stafford was referred to me by a friend who has used his services for years. Mr Stafford handled two different situations for me. He and his secretary are fantastic. Mr. Stafford is a straight shooter and tells it like it is. He knows the legal system and works very hard for his clients. I have and would recommend him to my friends and family. If you are in trouble, he can't and won't guarantee that he can get you out of it, but he will work his best(usually with fantastic results)for you.
I am writing this review to share my deep frustration and disappointment with the legal representation my son received from Attorney James Stafford during his murder trial. His handling of the case was, in my opinion, negligent and unprofessional, and it had devastating consequences for my son and our family. My son was convicted of murder under Texas’s Law of Parties—a controversial legal doctrine that allows someone to be held criminally responsible for another person’s actions if they are found to have encouraged, aided, or conspired in the crime. However, what makes this situation especially unjust is that none of the other alleged parties in the case were ever convicted. In fact, a key individual known as “Trill,” who was primary to the case, had his charges completely dismissed. How can someone be convicted under a law that requires criminal participation or agreement with others—when those “others” were never proven guilty or even brought to justice?
