E.R. "Ned" Turnbull is the Managing Partner of Turnbull Legal Group, PLLC. Judge Turnbull is a former State District Court Judge, Chief Judge of the Criminal Division, and a former Chief Prosecutor.
He is a former Member of the Court of Criminal Appeals Rules Committee, the Court of Criminal Appeals Emergency Appellate Division, and the Trial Judges Association. Judge Turnbull has been endorsed by Chambers of Commerce, Newspaper Editorial Boards, Legal Bar Associations, and Law Enforcement and Safety Organizations.
Judge Turnbull has been recognized in Marquis Who’s Who publications, including Who’s Who in the Law and Who’s Who in the World. Additionally, Judge Turnbull has been awarded an Executive Department Proclamation and the Governor’s Judicial Commendation. Mr. Turnbull received his Juris Doctor from The University of Tulsa School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University.
Mr. Turnbull is currently qualified as trial counsel in death penalty cases in two jurisdictions, has tried more than 200 felony jury trials, and is licensed in Texas and Oklahoma.
