About Caycie Kahiau Gusman Wong

Ms.Caycie Kahiau Gusman Wong is a partner in the firm and she concentrates her practice in commercial and construction litigation. She believes that integrity and commitment to excellence are the integral values she must consistently strive for in serving her clients and the community.

Ms. Wong was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, and graduated with honors from the Kamehameha Schools. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, cum laude, from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She also served as a team captain and member of the Rutgers University Women’s Soccer Team that was consecutively ranked as one of the top 20 teams in the nation. Ms. Wong received the Rutgers Business School Outstanding Achievement Award for her academic and athletic achievements, and was inducted as a member of the National College Athlete Honor Society-Chi Alpha Sigma NJ Delta.

Ms. Wong returned home in 2010 and received her law degree, cum laude, from the University of Hawaii William S. Richardson School of Law. During law school, Ms. Wong served as Technical Editor of the University of Hawaii Law Review, and she was a member of the Native American Moot Court Team, where she received the first place award for Best Advocate in the 21st Annual National NALSA Moot Court Competition. Ms. Wong also played soccer for the University of Hawaii during her first year in law school, and coached youth soccer for Riggers Hawaii Soccer Club. She received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Organizing for Social Change, and was a volunteer law clerk for the Honorable Barbara P. Richardson and the Honorable Sabrina McKenna.

Ms. Wong has been a board member of the Susannah Wesley Community Center since 2015. She also enjoys paddling and spending time in the ocean with her husband and two sons.

Ms. Wong is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association. She is admitted practice before all state courts in the State of Hawaii and the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii.
