I hired Brian from another state in an emergency situation, When I called the office, the staff was very friendly and very thorough. . I was able to speak with the attorney right away, in which some that I called took hours to call back. Brian was professional and I felt very confident in hiring him, He stood up to his word and delivered what he promised to do in a very timely manner. I would recommend him to anyone and give his office staff " a pat on the back" Good job and very pleased
My custody case started as a basic matter but once initially settled the father tried modifying every few months. Brian worked with me financially and both he and his staff ALWAYS took my calls. Unlike most attorneys, they never billed me for reaching out with last minute questions/concerns and always did their best to put my mind at ease. Had it not been for him and his staff I don’t know that my case would have turned out as good as it did!
He is a nice guy and he lets you make payments but as far as being your lawyer. He does not have a clue. The GAL recommended him so that's why i contacted him. He was late to court always and didn't have any idea what was going on with me or my case.The DFS caseworker even said "I cant believe Brian didn't say or do anything to help you in court" $1500 down the drain and he keeps billing me for $400 more!
He is not the lawyer you want for a custody vase for your child. He has no ambition to help people out and only seems to care about the money. He does not keep up with what is going on in the case and expects money just about for every communication. My case has been hoing on for over a year and has not gone any further than a guardian ad litem being assigned and has not even spoke to them. He even agrred to terms with the other parent without me present. Worst money ever spent, period.
Not once did he ever get back with me on any matter. Not once did he make a phone call in my behalf. Not once did he stay in touch with the Guardian ad litem.. even saying that I need to make the calls. Never knew nothing of my case and if I had a question, I got told by Janet she would let him know.. then nothing in response.
During my last court hearing, we were in agreement nothing had been settled. Only to find out that he went into the hearing room and signed off that I had agreed.
