Eddy A. Corn has more than 25 years of experience practicing law, with particular strengths in trust and tax law. Born in Young Harris, Georgia, and raised on a farm that is now Brasstown Valley Resort, he graduated from Towns County High School, earned an associate degree from Young Harris College, and received a BBA from Emory University. A Certified Public Accountant before law school, Eddy earned his J.D. from Georgia State University. Early in his career he worked in Dalton during a period of carpet-industry consolidation, helping business owners maximize buyouts with careful trust drafting. He later served as Vice President of Finance for Bartow Paving Company and as controller for a real estate development firm, then was counsel to J.D. Tittle in Hiawasee for several years before buying the practice in the 2010s. He focuses on Elder Law, estate planning (wills, trusts, powers of attorney), multi-state and blended-family planning, estate and trust administration, and related civil litigation. Outside the office he enjoys hiking the Appalachian Mountains, trout fishing, and time with his wife Georgia, his practice manager, and their two children.
