Shahid's expertise came through during our very first conversation. Other firms I contacted quickly asked for a retainer without explaining what if anything they could do for me. Shahid explained this thoroughly and exactly what he would need from me. I feel his fee was very reasonable for the excellent quality of work performed.
I hired him to represent me during my citizenship interview with INS. I paid him several thousand dollars. He did show for the interview, which was about all of energy he put into it. He was silent through most of the interview - I had to ask the questions and speak up when he wouldn't. He seemed cowed by the INS reviewer. I had the feeling he didn't want to speak up because it might hurt his standing with INS. Maybe my case and fee wasn't important enough for him to risk it. He was silent during what should have been an easy point of law for him to clarify to the reviewer, as I learned later. My case was denied, of course, my money wasted. Then, I had to research case law and INS admin manual myself, come up with the appropriate arguments and write my own rebuttal to INS. Because of this, they granted me citizenship. This firm is a waste of money.
