About Damon Lee Halverson

Damon graduated from Xavier University with a Bachelor of Arts in History, Cum Laude and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. He began working for the Pater Law Firm in 2000 and became an associate in 2001. He was later named a partner in 2011. Mr. Halverson is certified by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the International Association of Chiefs of Police in DUI Detection and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing. He is a member and trustee of the Butler County Bar Association, member of the Ohio State Bar Association, as well as the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
