  Commercial Litigation — AMA Realty LLC. v. 9440 Fairview Avenue LLC.,Ms. Barsoum, along with Mr. Farhi, represented the Plaintiff in a commercial contract litigation case against the Defendant, wherein Plaintiff alleged the Defendant dumped hazardous materials on the Plaintiff’s property in violation of the lease agreement between the parties. After a nine (9) day trial, the jury awarded the Plaintiff $1.2 million in damages. Thereafter, on an application for fees, the Plaintiff was $3 million in attorney fees
  Employment Law — Accredited Lock Supply, Ms. Barsoum, along with Mr. Farhi, represented the Defendant in an employment litigation case against the Defendant, wherein Plaintiff alleged the Defendant discriminated against him in violation of the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination (“NJLAD”). After a seven (7) day trial, the Court ruled in favor of the Defendant

  Adoption Law — In Re Matter of the Adoption of Baby Boy, Ms. Barsoum, along with Mr. Farhi, represented the adoptive mother against the adoption agency, which she alleged that the adoption agency failed to counsel the adoptive mother
  provide her with any information about alternative options to adoption in violation of governing statues
  regulations. After a two (2) week trial, the trial Court entered an Order voiding the adoption
  directing the immediate return of the baby to its adoptive mother. On appeal, however, the Appellate Court reversed the Trial Court’s holding based on the “best interest” of the baby.
