Pescatore & Sauter Law Offices is a law firm with an office in Hackensack, NJ. At this office location, there is 1 lawyer practicing real estate, personal injury, wills and 2 other areas of law.
Unfortunately after an initial consultation, I found Amy to be relatively unresponsive and, in the end, I don't think she looked out for my best interests in the entire matter.
Amy Sauter did an ABYSMAL, ABYSMAL job representing me in a fairly cut and dry divorce mediation!!! She is NOT aggressive AT ALL, no matter how many times I told her to be! She'd present me with an important decision but not give me any of her $399 wisdom, pros or cons this way or that! I should have fired her then, but I didn't trust my gut! She DID NOT respond to my exes deliberate stalling, multiple times, unless I got after her, multiple times, incurring more and more fees! She LITERALLY advocated for my ex, also multiple times!! We were married 30 years, I should have gotten alimony for the rest of my life, she got me 5 years and said 'well that's the best I can do'. SHE DID NOT HAVE MY BACK!!!!! She's VERY, VERY EXPENSIVE, she charges for EVERY minute of every email, phone call, EVERY SYLLABLE of ANY correspondence! FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS for a no brainer divorce mediation! Like I said... ABYSMAL! I DO NOT RECOMMEND HER AT ALL!!! Don't walk... RUN AWAY, FAST!!!!!!
Amy Sauter was not protecting my interests and provided a very poor representation during the early stage of the divorce process and during the mediation sessions. When I decided to transfer my case to another lawyer "the hell broke loose" and despite the fact that all my bills were paid ($10,000), she charged me another $900 just for copies of the documents (about 200 pages).
