Hired Law Firm

I hired Ralph Gaboury of Cox Padmore Skolnik & Shakarchy LLP to help me with a cease & desist letter I received from a company. I had no idea as to the legal merit of the letter, or what my options were. He took the time to listen to me to understand my relationship (legal and personal) with the company. While at face-value seems like a bare-minimum expectation, where I was thoroughly impressed was with which the quickness he understood it, as in my experience talking with other lawyers on the same topic, they had a hard time successfully grasping it. Ralph helped me understand the grey areas, strengths, and weaknesses the Cease & desist letter had, as well as my quantified risks and choices of options I had in front of me, to allow me to make an informed decision as to a legal course of action. I felt like I was in good hands as he helped me learn the legal concept, and potential scenarios at play. He communicated with them on my behalf, and now the situation seems settled.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
