Aileen Perez-Gjikova began her legal career as an Assistant Corporation Counsel representing the City of New York and other municipal corporations including the New York Police Department, New York Fire Department, New York Department of Sanitation and New York City Housing Authority in various stages of litigation in the Law Department’s Tort Division.
Ms. Perez-Gjikova later began working at a firm in Morristown, New Jersey which specialized in personal injury, workers compensation and bankruptcy matters.
Ms. Perez-Gjikova is the Founding Partner of the Law Offices of Perez and Bonomo. She specializes and has mastered several areas of the law including personal injury and workers compensation litigation, bankruptcy and foreclosure defense as well as divorce and family law matters.
She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York as well as New Jersey and New York federal courts including the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. In 2023, Ms. Perez-Gjikova was admitted to the United States Supreme Court in Washington, D.C.
