After scraping together enough money for a retainer. Mr. Nicholas took my case. He claims. To have tried repeatedly to email and call me. The one and only email I received, I responded to expediently. It was only after I missed a court date I knew nothing about that I received and an email that he was withdrawing as my attorney due to my “lack of cooperation.” I responded to that email immediately as well. I explained that I had not seen a request for information from him but his ego was hurt and he was embarrassed that he had to tell a judge “he didn’t know” something and he took it out on me. Yelling at me and flat refusing to return any of my retainer
Took my case thinking it would be an easy paycheck, didnt do anything on it until the day before the hearing and told me the day before that he thought i was going to lose. from that point on, it was like he basically was representing the opposing counsel.
