Sam Cole is an attorney at CHASENBOSCOLO, admitted to practice in Maryland’s state and federal courts. He earned his bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Since December 2016, Sam has practiced exclusively on the plaintiff’s side, representing individuals and families harmed by negligence and wrongdoing.
Raised in the rural Rust Belt of Ohio, Sam was drawn to the law by a desire to help people who lacked access to meaningful legal representation. Growing up in a community where systemic inequities and limited resources were common, he believed that becoming an attorney was one way-however small-to help tip the balance toward fairness and justice. With his wife, Dominique’s encouragement, Sam returned to school to pursue law, discovering both a passion and a calling in advocating for others.
Sam focuses his practice on personal injury litigation, including automobile and trucking collisions and premises liability cases. Earlier in his career, he also handled medical malpractice matters. Some of the most meaningful work of his career has involved advocating for vulnerable clients, including survivors of abuse and seriously injured children, helping secure recoveries that provide long-term medical care, education, and life support.
What Sam values most about his work is connecting with everyday people in his community and helping them through some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Before becoming an attorney, he worked in road construction, maintenance, food service, and warehouse jobs-experience that helps him relate to the clients he serves and the challenges they face.
Sam is actively involved in the legal and local community. He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the DC Bar, the Bar Association of Baltimore City, and the Baltimore County Bar Association . He supports the Homeless Persons Representation Project and volunteers with his children’s school. He has lived in Maryland since 2011 and now resides in Laurel, after many years in Baltimore City.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time with his wife and their two sons. He is a fan of the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Baltimore Orioles, and can often be found playing in weekly Dungeons & Dragons games. Above all, Sam brings to his practice a deep respect for hard work, fairness, and the belief that the law should apply equally to everyone.
