We used John Newberry to close a sale of my mobile home and land in August, 2019. The mobile home's title I was selling was never retired (filed with the State) by the seller when I purchased it. It was sprung on me at closing that I was given 4 months to get the title in order to receive an additional $25,000. I had offered to take $20,000 less until I could get title with no time frame. As I had driven 3 hours to closing and had no idea how long a title would take. I agreed. Well I got screwed out of the $25,000 as I did not meet deadline as the process takes more than 4 months. John Newberry knew it would take longer than that and represented the buyer to get the title. BEWARE DO NOT GO THRU HIM FOR MOBILE HOME.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

Lawyers who have received peer reviews after 2009 will display more detailed information, including practice areas, summary ratings, detailed numeric ratings and written feedback (if available). Details for individual reviews received before 2009 are not displayed.
