Working with Attorney Visser was easy for the difficult situation I was in (divorce). Mr. Visser and his assistant were with me every step of the way and communicated through email and phone calls well. They kept me updated and made it as simple & pleasant for me as possible. His experience showed through my case and I was very happy with the services rendered. Highly recommended!

We simply needed him to dissolve a trust that was in my husband's grandparent's name, and also then redo a Will for Grandma after her husband as well as her daughter passed away. Therefore, it was not difficult, nor time-consuming as we knew exactly what we needed done.

I felt he did a good job, but the time we paid for he spent talking about his own experience to a great degree - that's not what we intended to pay for. Then he charged us additional money for copies of documents (which I could have made much cheaper myself). Over all, it cost more money than I anticipated and I felt he shared too much of his own personal experience on my time and money.

Attorney Visser is a nice enough fellow and he knows how to do a basic divorce. He is very passive and does not advocate for what is fair and right. He works hard to settle at the expense of his client. Mr. Visser talks a lot and elicits email and phone conversations that seems useless but increase his billable hours tremendously. I regret hiring him and feel I would have better off to represent myself using the legal assistance center on the fifth floor of the court house.

I hired Visser because he was a “Christian Attorney who advocates for reconciliation”. In my first appointment, he spoke extensively about himself and then told me my ex was a narcissist and would never change. (This is true but knowing the extreme emotional abuse I endured, Visser never advocated for me, he only judged me and chastised me.) wow, just what I needed was more abuse!!!!! Visser completely failed me, he caved and never advocated for me. I would call him a coward and incompetent at best. He talks a good game but is afraid to confront other attorneys. I wish I had never hired him, he threw me under the bus. I had to sign a non disclosure due to his failures which his firm settled with me for a very small fee. I can’t say what he did but I would never recommend Tim Visser to anyone. Incompetent is being kind to this arrogant attorney.
