Andrew's practice areas include investment funds, corporate finance, lending and restructuring. Andrew is one of the leading legal counsels in the Cayman Islands for advising hedge funds, private equity funds, other investment funds and large institutions on corporate finance matters. His clients include large institutions, fund managers, investment funds and investment banks. He is also regularly engaged by other participants and professional advisers, in particular onshore counsel on a variety of transactions involving investment funds and corporate finance. His practice is equally divided between the US and Europe. Andrew is a director for Stuarts Corporate Services Ltd and Southern Management Services Ltd.
He was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 1992, and practiced in the corporate department of the London office of Baker & McKenzie from 1990 to 1996 advising a range of acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures and inward investment. Andrew was admitted as an attorney of the Grand Court of The Cayman Islands in 1996 and practiced with W.S. Walker and Company from 1996 to 2002. Andrew is a graduate of University College London and of the University of Exeter, and has LLB Honors in Law and BA Honors in history.
