Be prepared to advocate for yourself because they will not do it for you. And the only way they will respond to you is if you get frustrated. If you get a case manager named Annie, immediately request a new one. If you're not a perfect victim with a perfect family, she will make sure to blame you where ever possible with no consideration that you are there because your father was killed. It’s your fault that’s taking so long because all the siblings are estranged. I don't blame the lawyer, so I won't name him. But in order to get into contact with him, I had to be an internet sleuth and call every number that he's ever been registered at. To his credit: when I finally found a number he could be reached at, he returned my phone call within the hour. I don't think that was his fault, I think his case manager (Annie) wasn't looping him in when she should have. That is why this is a 2-star review and not a 1-star review. You will never get through to this guy, you have to go through a front desk who isn’t even at their location! they are shady. Bootleg office, and they lock their doors at all hours of the day. As soon as I walked in, I walked out. No professional etiquette. Bad vibes
Use caution when choosing this firm. They perilously damaged my case, failed to represent my best interests, and fraudulently attempted to receive funds from me by presently themselves as my counsel when they had already filed a motion to be removed (which they did with no notice or warning).
