I worked with Rebecca during my divorce and custody arrangement in 2014-2016, as well as 2018 for a smaller matter. Once my ex and I decided to finally move forward with our divorce, Rebecca moved things along and had our divorce finalized within a couple of months. Rebecca was very much an advocate to my daughter as well as myself during this process.

The attorney did not provide any recommendations during negotiations. Did not read or advise on the custody agreement. Failed to pursue financial settlement during a nesting agreement. Was working another divorce during final settlement and did not provide any recommendations on what was reasonable to accept. Recommended that I agree to all the terms presented instead of looking out for my best interests.

Former client here. I hired Ms. Mulyk because I taught her daughter and expected strong advocacy. Instead, my divorce is still not finalized because she moved to withdraw from my case after I had already paid about $25,000 in fees. For that amount, I did not receive a fair or clearly explained settlement strategy. On my own, with help from another attorney and an AI tool, I’ve negotiated a better deal than what she pushed me to accept. The maintenance amount she said I “had to” take was almost $400 less per month than what I later calculated using our actual incomes, and I reduced the equity payout on the marital home by about $14,000 compared to the figure she urged me toward. Her communication style made everything worse: emails often felt snarky, passive‑aggressive, and dismissive at a time when my 22‑year marriage was ending and I needed clear guidance and basic empathy. Based on my experience, I would not recommend hiring her.

Ms. Laho is dishonest and unprofessional. She sent contract stating fees $250 per hr but then switched and improperly billed $2,500. When I noticed she became angry. Judge ordered her to charge $250 per hr because she wouldn’t reduce cost. She prolonged case, lied and is difficult to work with. The attorney representing me left the firm. I chose to stay with another attorney within the firm expecting that there would be a level of familiarly of my case. This unfortunately was not the case. The firm was sloppy with the transition and as a result was completely ineffective. I'm not exactly sure what their value was other than submitting paper work to the court.
