I met with Ms. Elliott to discuss a new divorce situation between my wife and myself, and after explaining the details and naming some influencing parties in the situation, including my wife’s sister Jayne Pearman, who Is also a divorce Attorney, and an office partner of hers named Jerry Bell, whom my wife recently hired to do an estate plan for us (without my knowledge) it was finally brought to my attention by Ms. Elliott that she has a long term professional relationship with my wife’s sister, and that she (Ms. Elliott) grew up in a small town in mid Missouri with Jerry Bell. It was only after Ms. Elliott made me aware of her relationships with these two people at the end of our conversation that she asked me for a consulting fee of $350.00. I posted this same recollection to this spot earlier, after thanking her for her time and confirming our new and much appreciated Attorney/Client relationship, but it was removed a few days later by someone (as she explained) doing maintenance
Awful experience. Art put in minimal work. I had to correct his paperwork myself to sign. Based on his comments to me I am not sure if one of the documents he provided was legal. Very slow to respond.
