Honestly either of them do not deserve even one star. My now husband has Lacey as a lawyer and SHE HAS NEVER SHOWN UP FOR ANY COURT APPEARANCES. It has always been her partner Cherie, showing up and even when she did she did not know who my husband was or anything about the case. She doesn’t do anything to fight for you and sides with the DA. Literally leaves you in worse standing with the court and you’re better off representing yourself than being in her hands. They also NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE OR RESPOND TO EMAILS. It doesn’t matter how many times you spam call them, if you leave a voicemail, or really any actual time you call them; they will never answer or return your calls. Same goes for emails. It’s like having a brick wall be your attorney. If you ever happen to have her appointed as your attorney, immediately request a new one. They will do literally nothing for you. Or if you can just suck it up and put the money down to get a better attorney, it is worth it to not lose.
If I could give less than 1 star, I would. She is awful. Shows up to court late. Unprofessional in all aspects. Claims she calls and emails you when she in fact does not. If you try to reach out to her, she doesn’t return your calls. Had my email wrong the entire case. Horrible attorney and needs to just give up or retire. If you get her, I would definitely recommend seeking a different attorney.
Working with this lawyer well I’m not going to say work with cause the first time I showed up to court after I had to find out on my own about everything is the first time I seen the lady and she is very disrespectful, talks over you while you try to explain to her and claims she doesn’t get calls or emails from you when they were provided by the courts showed no sign of fight in my case and just basically told me jail or probation on top of thousands of court fees horrible wouldn’t recommend should definitely retire .
She should actually do the work. People want to win,not settle especially if it's EASILY won and shut. She should do the work instead of the client. And if someone wants a jury trial, don't tell them no,especially when ALL signs point to not guilty. Don't scare them into confessing something they never did.
