Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer.Mark T. Smith is one of the most professional and conscientious people I know. He has spent time (several hours) investigating cases to see if he could get results before he charged me a penny -- even without a consultation fee. Both times Mark has taken my cases, the results were very, very good. He has an extremely high-level and deserved reputation with other lawyer and also judges.I simply don't believe you can do any better than Mark. If he can't help, he will refer you to someone he trusts.
I have confucted over 5,000 mediations. I have taught ADR on the graduate school level, and trained many mediators. Mr. Smith is the single worst mediator I have ever had the displeasure in which to have experience. He was simply clueless and could not have been more wrong regarding the outcome of the case. He offered nothing with which to settle and divulged confidential information. . Please don't conduct mediations.
Arrogance and bad advice to my ex-wife during a mediation added years our case. He shamed me and I had done nothing wrong. I had every intention of settling and he ruined it. My ex-wife would agree. Had he not been thirty years older…. He acts like a big fish in a small pond but after a failed attempt at running for judge, the good ol boys network felt sorry for him and appointed him Clerk. He is an embarrassment. By the way, I have handled thousands of mediations, helped formulate laws, and am an adjunct professor in ADR. Sir, I hope you aren’t still conducting meditations for the sake of the community. I should have reported you for divulging confidential information but I chalked it up as a bad day. But still, your terrible words ruined lives for a little while.
