Eventually founding his own firm, Donnie has since focused on litigation, probate, and estates. His role as a Special Assistant Attorney General, along with positions as city attorney for Oakwood and county attorney for Habersham County, highlight his adeptness in navigating politically sensitive issues like land use and zoning. Beyond the courtroom, Donnie is deeply embedded in community life. He's been active in service clubs, youth sports coaching, and North Hall High School programs. An avid Georgia Bulldogs fan, he resides inGainesville, Georgia with his wife Kathy, a retired professor, enjoying visits from their children Jared and Rebekah, and relishing time with their six grandchildren.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database.
