After nearly 14 years in Corporate America, Theda W. Page returned to the private practice of law and opened The Page Law Firm, P.C. in 2002. The general civil practice firm has a primary focus in the areas of bankruptcy and family law. Theda began her career representing debtors and creditors in consumer and business bankruptcies with a boutique law firm in Dallas and then with a sole member firm.
In 1988 Theda joined J. C. Penney Company, Inc. in the corporate legal department where she developed and implemented a consumer bankruptcy rights enforcement project for the company's credit service centers. She also worked in the area of trade regulation ensuring the company's compliance with applicable state and federal laws, as well as in the area of securities regulation. In 1997 Theda expanded her career in the corporate arena when she was named Manager of Public Relations for JCPenney where she was responsible for the development, implementation and coordination of strategies with respect to the retail giant's media communications programs, including executive speech writing and event marketing.
Theda was named Director of Corporate Media Relations for Sabre Holdings Corporation in Fort Worth in 1999 and subsequently named Director of Worldwide Media Relations for Sabre.
Theda is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Politics. She earned her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
A dedicated volunteer, Theda is a firm believer in the betterment of the community through impacting the lives of others. She has been an active member of the Dallas community and the surrounding suburbs for nearly twenty years devoting her time and talent to many charitable and professional organizations. Theda is a member of the Frisco Bar Association, the Denton County Bar, and the John C. Ford American Inn of Court. She is also a member of the College of the State Bar, an honorary society of lawyers who are among the best trained attorneys in Texas.
Theda is married to Julian Brice and lives in Frisco. She and her husband are members of North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship in Richardson where they are active in the Mission and Outreach and Marriage Enrichment Ministries.
