These reviews are important because they can give a point of view from a client who has used this type of service. My experience is as follows: Working with Mr. Ogilvie in the beginning was a dream. He made many promises. He used to grow marijuana in the 70’s, drives an Harley and pretends to be a big guy. After several meetings with him telling me how he was going to look after my case became obvious billable hours for him. On several meetings, he sexualized my wife and sister, breached confidentiality of another client to my sister, breached confidentiality to my opponent. I brought this to his attention and he dismissed it as casual talk. He also was not able to use the evidence I gave him because due to his breach, he could face prison for 3-5 years. You are better off defending yourself or using someone who doesn’t use paralegals to do all of their work. He was referred to me by another lawyer who will not be referring him again. Under no circumstance would I ever use him.

Hired Attorney

Mr. Ogilvie was referred to me by a senior lawyer who met him in passing who has since regretted his referral. Grant Ogilvie told me what I wanted to hear, billed me for telling stories on how he was going to look after my case. He swore a lot, showed me pictures of his Marijuana grow operation from the 70’s, showed me his Harley as he pretended to be a tough guy. When it was time for him to deliver on his promises, he froze and did nothing. Likely because he gave personal evidence to my opponent in which breached the law for distribution; he could have faced up to 5 years of jail. So he decided to protect himself. Basically, I spent a year and a half of my life and over 20 thousand dollars on broken promises and was obviously used to pay for his boat that was in need of repair. He also called me to see if I would check in on his step-som who started working out at the same gym as me. Very strange and unprofessional little bald man who has been divorced 3 times. Hope this is helpful
