Jack joined Hartzog & Silva after twenty years in private practice, bringing with him a wide variety of legal experience and a specific focus on real estate matters. Prior to beginning the practice of law, Jack spent seventeen years as a civil engineering designer and construction administrator for one of the country’s premier consulting engineering firms. This gave him valuable experience in guiding clients through difficult construction and property issues. Jack’s practice also includes wills, estate administration, conservatorships and guardianships, small business matters, and commercial civil litigation.
Jack and his wife, Betsy, have three sons and two daughters-in-law. Although Jack grew up in Nashville, he and Betsy moved to Franklin to raise their family where Jack’s ancestral roots reach to the early settlers of Williamson County.
Jack has also been active outside of the legal community, coaching youth sports and serving various area organizations. He is currently President of the Sigma Chi – Kappa Psi Housing Corporation. He and Betsy also foster puppies for the Williamson County Animal Center.
