Marlene Boshears is an awesome attorney. As a professional, she embodies ideal qualities. Marlene is knowledgeable, diligent, competent and advocates and communicates extremely well - everything I would want in a lawyer representing any of my interests. As a person, Marlene is kind, patient and always attempt to understand my fears and concerns. Hired Attorney Phyllis Boshears

My experience with Marlene Boshears as my divorce attorney was a nightmare. She was lazy, incompetent, and often seemed to work against me rather than for me. I even questioned if she was being influenced by my ex. Marlene made multiple critical errors in the handling of my paperwork, leading to devastating consequences in my divorce outcome. As the case progressed, she became increasingly unresponsive and unreliable, leaving me in a very difficult position at a critical time. Her actions and inactions have caused significant hardship, and I'm now dealing with the aftermath of her poor representation. I strongly recommend avoiding Marlene Boshears if you want a competent and reliable attorney.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
