If I could give this man more stars I would. When you feel stuck and can’t think logically Mr. Shipley is a call away. He serves his community with purpose and dignity. Not only did he give me back my freedom, he taught me to be humble and to have faith.

I would recommend Mr. Shipley to anyone who needed council. He's very professional, hardworking, knowledgeable, honest, patient, kind, personable, he treats you more than just a client, hes quick to respond , explains things when you don't understand, listens, doesn't judge your situation, and always has your back. I could go on and on and on. Shipley fights for you as if he is fighting for his own family member. You won't be disappointed. He's different from all the other attorneys. He had 20 years of being an FBI agent under his belt. This gives him the advantage to throughly investigate your case. He knows what D.A.s look for and he stays on top of your case. All he asks in return is for your honesty. He's one hell of a lawyer. Give him call if you want a great lawyer. -Lisa L.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.

• Notable: This rating indicates that the lawyer has been recognized by a large number of their peers for strong ethical standards.

Lawyers who have received peer reviews after 2009 will display more detailed information, including practice areas, summary ratings, detailed numeric ratings and written feedback (if available). Details for individual reviews received before 2009 are not displayed.
