Don Carter has been practicing law in Ft. Worth/Tarrant since the 70's. He works with the same DA's day in/out & can negotiate magical plea offers. Sure, this is wonderful? IF YOU'RE GUILTY! But, what if you're INNOCENT? Remember? Carter WORKS WITH THE SAME DA's day in/out & deals work both ways? DA's help Carter negotiate generous pleas for clients. In exchange, DA's expect Carter's client to take a plea—even if they're innocent! When I refused to take a plea, he said I was making a foolish mistake that I'd regret. When I confronted Carter w/evidence showing that he'd been influenced by the DA to lie and mislead me by saying my accuser had been located and would be testifying for the State? The DA got "promoted" & "reassigned?" & ON THE VERY SAME DAY—Carter withdrew from all 5 of my cases? He REFUSED to REFUND mostly unearned payment of adv. fees & ignored my REQUESTS FOR AN ACCOUNTING! Carter cheated me out of $18K! Court appointed attorney easily got my cases dismissed. — So BEWARE!
