In 2010, Elizabeth moved to Fort Myers and began working for the Law Offices of Joseph Heintz, Jr. handling Civil litigation in the areas of real estate and foreclosures. In May of 2011, Elizabeth joined the Kuhn Law Firm where she continued her work in Civil litigation, and also began practicing in the areas of Estate Planning, Guardianships, Probate and Trust litigation. In November of 2013, Elizabeth joined the law office of Patrone & Kemp, P.A., where she has continued to practice in the areas of Estate Planning, Guardianships and Probate and Trust Administration. In January, 2018 she became partner.
In 2024, Elizabeth decided to create a new law firm with her former partner and mentor, Andre Patrone. Patrone Bentley Law Group focus’ on Estate Planning, Estate Settlement, Estate and Gift Tax Return preparation, Guardianship and some litigation arising from these practice areas.
Elizabeth was appointed to the Twentieth Circuit Grievance Committee “A” in 2019 and the Twentieth Circuit Unlicensed Practice of Law Committee in 2019. At present, she is the Chairman of the Unlicensed Practice of Law committee through October of 2025.
Elizabeth received a Pro Bono Award from the Florida Rural Legal Aid Society in 2012, 2016, 2017 and 2018.
