Alyssa Lyn Ioia is an Associate in the firm's Fort Myers office. She focuses her practice in the areas of arbitration and alternative dispute, bad faith and extra-contractual liability resolution, catastrophic and personal injury, country club, condo and homeowners’ association law, first party property, general civil litigation, general counsel services, insurance defense litigation, personal injury protection, premises liability, security negligence, and vehicle negligence.Ms. Ioia earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Boise State University before obtaining her Juris Doctor from Ave Maria School of Law. During her first summer of law school, she served as a Certified Legal Intern with the Florida Department of Children and Families, assisting with dependency and termination of parental rights matters. She also clerked with a plaintiff-side firm in Miami from her second year through bar preparation, gaining experience in first party property insurance litigation.Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Ms. Ioia practiced at a first party property firm in Fort Myers, FL, where she handled property insurance claims and assisted with civil litigation.
