Born and raised in Lakeland, Florida, the youngest of 3 children, my parents, Cuban refugees, instilled in me at an early age the importance of family, community, education and pride in this country.

Representing clients and families for 23+ years, I and my team believe in personalized service for each and every client. Our approach is education and proactive – we first determine each client’s individual needs, desires and values, and then tailor their plan to best fulfill their dreams.
What makes Life Law Planning different is that I built this firm with the needs of growing families in mind. I understand you are BUSY, you are growing, you are planning for a life of prosperity and you value ease, convenience and efficiency. You want to know you’ve made the best decisions for your family and that your plan will work when your loved ones need it most. You want to make sure your children and family would be taken care of in the best way possible. That is my focus as well.
I began my career in private practice, as an associate and then a partner in Harris & Gonzalez, a small law firm in Lakeland, Florida, where I concentrated in Family Law. In December 2008 the Board of Directors of Heart of Florida Legal Aid Society, Inc.(HOFLA) hired me to be its Executive Director. Then in November 2014 I became the Executive Director of the Lee County Legal Aid Society (LCLA). Through my work and community involvement, I grew both professionally, philanthropically and personally. Having loved my work with these agencies and the impact we made in the community, I found that I missed building those meaningful connections and bonds with the individuals and families I served. This is why I began Life Law Planning.
I am a proud member of the Florida Bar Association, an organization dedicated to providing sophisticated and excellent service in today’s dynamic legal environment. I am a member of the Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section and the Florida Bar’s Family Law Section.
I am also a proud member of the University of Florida Alumni Association…GO GATORS! I am also a huge Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan having grown up in the Tampa Bay Area.
