About W. Taylor Loe

W. Taylor Loe is a Partner at the firm’s Fort Lauderdale East office. He concentrates his practice on state and federal civil litigation matters, including commercial law, class actions, labor and employment, civil rights law, as well as community association law. He regularly advises on highly-contentious complex matters related to defamation, fiduciary duty claims, director and officer liability, partnership disputes, parent and subsidiary disputes, breach of contract, the Florida Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (civil RICO), professional malpractice, shareholder derivative claims, insurance, Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and business torts, such as fraud and conspiracy. Mr. Loe also routinely defends corporations and employers throughout various federal, state, and local investigations, as well as at trial.

Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Mr. Loe was a prosecutor in the Florida Keys, where he handled thousands of criminal cases, evidentiary hearings, and numerous jury trials.

Mr. Loe received his undergraduate degree from Florida State University, majoring in Psychology. Thereafter, Mr. Loe attended Florida International University College of Law, where he was awarded a full-tuition scholarship, and received his Juris Doctor. During law school, Mr. Loe was a member of FIU Law Review and the Mock Trial Team.

Mr. Loe is a Fort Lauderdale native, and attended Saint Thomas Aquinas High School. Outside of the office, Mr. Loe enjoys spending time with his wife at the beach and rooting for his Florida Panthers.
