About Carolina Duran

Carolina Duran is an Associate at the firm's Fort Lauderdale East office. She concentrates her practice on state and federal civil litigation matters, including general civil litigation, business/commercial law, employment and labor law, civil rights law, and condominium and homeowners' association law.

Mrs. Duran received her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University, graduating in the top 10% of her class. During law school, she also served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Nova Law Review. Mrs. Duran earned a place on the Dean's List every semester. She received the Book Award in Legal Writing for obtaining the highest grade in the course as well as the Most Outstanding 3L Student of the Year Award for Volume 48. She was an advocate on both NSU Law's Trial and Moot Court teams. Mrs. Duran was an active member of the Cuban American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, and was a Lexis Nexis Research Associate.

Prior to law school, Mrs. Duran received her Bachelor's degree in Communications, with a minor in Political Science and Legal Studies, from the Honors College at Florida International University, where she graduated cum laude.
