Brandt R. Stickel is the principal attorney at Hogan & Stickel, Inc., bringing decades of experience and a deep commitment to the Mendocino Coast community. After earning his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley and a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Brandt began his career in health planning before pursuing law. He graduated from Willamette University College of Law in 1986 and was admitted to the California Bar the following year. Over sixteen years of civil litigation practice, Brandt developed broad experience before earning an advanced degree in taxation (LL.M) from Golden Gate University. Since co-founding Hogan & Stickel, Inc. in 2006, his practice has focused on estate planning, probate, trust administration, conservatorships, and business law. Over the last several years Brandt, the firm CPA, Larry Flores, and partner Amanda Pekin have maintained a regular column in the Mendocino County Real Estate Magazine with informative articles on estate planning, and tax isssues. A dedicated community member, Brandt has served on the boards of several local nonprofits and is active in the Rotary Club of Mendocino. His practice is distinguished by a client-centric approach that emphasizes education and collaboration.
