    Bar Fellowship
    of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (""AAML""). The AAML was founded in 1962 ""to provide leadership that promotes the highest degree of professionalism and excellence in the practice of family law."" Fellows across the United States are generally recognized by judges and attorneys as preeminent family law practitioners with a high level of knowledge, skill and integrity. There are currently only 43 attorneys in the State of Michigan who meet the AAML standards. Mr. Kobliska is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell. The AV Preeminent rating means that the lawyer has attained the highest level of professional excellence. Mr. Kobliska has been named as a Michigan Super Lawyer for 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. Only 5% of the private practice lawyers from any state or region are included each year. In addition, he was awarded the Top Attorneys in Michigan designation by The New York Times in September of 2012. Collaborative law provides a team approach to resolve disputes between two parties who would otherwise litigate their case in court. Collaborative law, as an alternative to court advocacy, is a new movement in the Family Law field, and very small percentage of attorneys in Michigan have the requisite training. In September of 2011, Mr. Kobliska was elected to the State Bar of Michigan Family Law Council. The Council formulates and influences legislation, develops proposed amendments to the court rules and the professional ethics rules, file amicus curiae briefs with the Michigan Court of Appeals and the Michigan Supreme Court, and publishes the Michigan Family Law Journal.
