Working with Shirley Horn was the best Lawyer I ever worked with she was very understanding about my need to get my problems done and she had compassion at the time I loss my husband and granddaughter she gave time to grieve and was very consistent on how I was doing she is considerate I love her and would use her again for my next lawyer need she was always available if I couldn’t get in contact with her I could leave a message she always return my call at a reasonable time at her earliest convenience to take care of the need.
A few years back, I found myself in the situation where I needed to file for bankruptcy. Although I dreaded this decision, Attorney Shirley Horn made the process as smooth and painless as possible. From the first meeting I was comfortable with her and her knowledge of the process. She was clear on what I should expect, what was required of me, possible hurdles we could encounter and what the time frame would be. The fees she quoted me for her services were fair with no hidden cost later.

She lead me to believe my fee would be 3000 then she said the trustee said she had to file by application which turn out to be 5000 why more i didn't understand.
I ended up paying 12,000 let me say that again TWELVE THOUSAND PLUS DOLLARS. I did not own a house nor an apartment building I was not a millionaire how did I end up paying that MUCH. She is NOT RIGHT. She's nice & sweet but she will rob you BLIND by adding outrageous fees just for going in making adjustments such as being able to keep your taxes DO NOT sign any papers until yo see what you're being charged. OMG I switched attorneys but she still got paid. Save yourself & family BEWARE
Attorney Horn is rude and unprofessional. I would not suggest hiring her. She makes you think that you need to file a chapter 13 when your best option should be a chapter 7. She does this to make more money off you over time. I feel deceived and ripped off by her. She has even raised her voice and yelled at me! Not to mention being late to my scheduled court date.
