Rob Manly is a litigation attorney with an active trial practice assisting his clients with a wide variety of disputes throughout North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota. Rob's areas of concentration include personal injury claims, trust and estate litigation, mediation, contract disputes, and agricultural-related litigation.
Rob has been with Vogel for nearly 25 years, and has cultivated a reputation as a respected and formidable trial attorney. During his time with Vogel, Rob has handled numerous trials and appeals to successful conclusions. Rob is comfortable in the courtroom, and is a natural communicator whether working with clients, negotiating with adversaries, or serving as an expert consultant in trust and probate controversies. He has also served as a leader at Vogel Law Firm in several critical management roles throughout his career, including an eight-year term as firm president, serving as a mentor for the law firm’s associate attorneys, and previous service leading the firm’s recruiting and compensation committees.
A proud native of New Rockford, North Dakota, Rob resides in north Fargo with his wife Julie, and they have three adult children. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the University of North Dakota School of Law. Rob is active in his community, serving on boards and volunteering with several local non-profit organizations. Rob is the President-Elect for the State Bar Association of North Dakota Board of Governors, and is very active in bar association activities, having participated as a mentor in SBAND’s Lawyer’s Assistance Program, and served 24 years on the Board of Directors for Legal Services of North Dakota.
