Kesha Tanabe is an experienced finance and restructuring professional. Kesha has previously served as a U.S. Bankruptcy Judge, a Small Business Bankruptcy Trustee, and a mediator of bankruptcy matters. She has represented debtors, secured lenders, official committees of unsecured creditors, indenture trustees, ad hoc committees of bondholders or equity interest holders, critical vendors, consignment and other creditors in bankruptcy. She has litigated or mediated hundreds of adversary proceedings nationwide. In addition to her bankruptcy practice, she also has extensive experience in managing litigation trusts, creditor trusts, escrows, and other corporate trust matters, including out of court restructuring and indenture default litigation. She has been co-editor in chief of a bankruptcy publication, taught at several law schools, and she is a frequent lecturer at continuing education programs for lawyers, bankruptcy trustees and judges.
