Did not provide me with the level of service he did to the person referred me, who had a lot more money than me. Shearer discriminated against me because I did not have a lot of money, and his quality of service was poor, he is incompetent, and frankly was more interested in just getting my case over with rather than advise me accordingly. There are mistakes in my separation agreement, and it appears to me he didn't represent my best interest. Including inappropriate sexual comments.
Robert Shearer was suspended in 2018. I wish I knew. There should have been a class action suit against this man. He doesn't represent his client's best interests. All he cares about is getting the money in his bank account, and using it for his alcohol abuse. He just wanted my case over-with and gave me bad advise. He made inappropriate sexual comments, and pushed for me to just sign the divorce even though I was reluctant and felt distressed about it. I felt coerced and pressured. When I signed the document and said I don't feel right signing it, he told me I had to. I wish he could get disbarred permanently. He is a terrible attorney and puts his drinking and drug use above all other things. Horrible experience and got screwed in my divorce. I took my agreement to another attorney a few years later, and he said it was the worst divorce agreement he had ever seen and he informed me of Shearer's disbarment and informed me of Shearer's incompetence as an attorney.
