Eric Waldman is a skilled litigator who has a strong track record of delivering successful results for his clients in the financial services, construction, real estate sectors and other industries. He has represented numerous businesses, municipalities, and individuals in a variety of commercial litigation matters, which have included contractual disputes, business tort claims, fraudulent transactions, claims under the Uniform Commercial Code, creditors’ rights, employment disputes, trust and estate disputes and other business issues. Mr. Waldman has represented financial institutions in banking and financial services matters, including joint deposit account issues, powers of attorney, levy and garnishment matters, and claims arising out of federal consumer protection statutes. He has also represented property owners, general contractors, subcontractors and material suppliers in construction litigation, including contractual disputes and claims to enforce mechanic’s liens. Mr. Waldman has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in three jurisdictions and has litigated cases in Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia, New York and New Jersey.
During law school, Mr. Waldman served as an executive editor of the Syracuse Science and Technology Law Reporter and judicial extern for Judge Eugene H. Austin of the New Jersey Superior Court in Bergen County.
